Human Resources Representative

Job Title: Human Resources Representative (Contract – 6 Months) Pay Rate: $28–$32 per hourEmployment Type: Contract (6-month assignment) Position Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Representative with strong talent acquisition skills to support a diverse and fast-paced organization. This role will play a key part in recruiting across multiple departments while also supporting core HR functions such as onboarding, employee relations, and administrative processes. Key Responsibilities: Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for a variety of roles across multiple departments Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring a smooth candidate experience Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, including orientation and documentation Assist in setting and maintaining employee pay rates in alignment with internal guidelines Support annual performance review processes, including documentation and coordination Review and verify employee timecards for accuracy and compliance Provide general HR support to department leaders, including assistance with special projects Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation Qualifications: Proven experience in human resources, with a strong focus on talent acquisition Ability to manage multiple priorities and recruit across a variety of job functions Strong organizational and communication skills Experience with onboarding, employee relations, and HR administrative processes Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting public sector or multi-department organizations Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Work Environment:This is a contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization while gaining broad HR experience across multiple functional areas.
